Alex Rydlinski is an American graphic artist and painter from Fairbanks, Alaska. He taught himself to paint by studying images in books and museums, from Van Gogh to Titian, and soon realized that the older the works, the more miraculous they were. In 2017, Rydlinski was a student of Odd Nerdrum and the following year he took courses with George O'Hanlon and Tatiana Zaytseva. He learned to make etchings from Joe Carr in the Matsu Valley of Alaska.
