Self-portrait after Kollwitz

(born in Madrid, 2001) is a Spanish painter who creates symbolic and dreamlike images rooted in the classical form. After studying at Atelier Madrid for five years with the aim of learning an objective framework, Astudillo traveled to Norway to apprentice with Odd Nerdrum. The stay at the Nerdrum School led to a deeper urge in Astudillo to explore the storytelling and fundamental questions in painting.
