David Molesky (b. 1977, Washington, DC) is an oil painter whose work draws on turbulent natural forces and mythology-infused figurative traditions. After earning his BA from UC Berkeley, he continued his training with artists championed by critic Donald Kuspit as New Old Masters, culminating in two years of study at the Nerdrum School (2006–2008).

Molesky’s paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe, and his work is held in the permanent collections of the Long Beach Museum of Art and the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art in the Philippines. His practice has been featured in The Washington Post, New American Paintings, and American Arts Quarterly.
