Description

The painting was included in the summer exhibition "Nerdrumklanen" in the Grandkvartalet in Larvik, July 15 - August 23, as well as the group exhibition "Forvandlinger" at Fredriksborg in Oslo, October 17-19, 2025.

Gunnar Haslund

Gunnar Haslund was connected to Nerdrum School in the period 2005-2010. He traveled with Odd Nerdrum to paint in Norway, Iceland and France. After his apprenticeship at Nerdrum, he has worked together with other figurative painters from both Norway and abroad.

Being a pupil of Nerdrum has had a great impact on Haslund's life and work. Haslund wants to reproduce moods from the forest and nature in his figurative works.

Gunnar Haslund has published several books and contributed his works to, among other things, the book "Nerdrumskolen". He has had several solo exhibitions and he has participated in group exhibitions in Norway, Denmark, Germany and the Canary Islands.
