Nathalie Hofsøy is a painter from Tromsø. She is an apprentice with Morten Reigstad at Fabrikken Tegne and Painting School in Heggedalen. Previously, she studied with the painter Anna-Brith Arntsen, who in turn was a student of Odd Nerdrum.
Hofsøy works with expressions and idioms within the classical figurative tradition, and strives for depth, feeling and symbolism in his images.
