(born 1987) is a classical painter from Australia who emphasizes the mythical, the outsider and the underworld in his images, inspired by personal experiences and dreams. Fountain earned a bachelor's degree in art and creative arts (2010-2012), but the lack of technical expertise in the program and the pressure to embrace the modernist idiom made him choose to devote himself to the old masters instead. In 2025, he made his first trip to Europe to be a student of Odd Nerdrum in Norway. Other painters who inspire Fountain include Corneliu Baba, Rembrandt and Titian.
